Binary Burst (2025)

Prix promotionnel : 300,00 € Prix initial : 500,00 €

Dimensions: 25 × 25 cm

Technique: Acrylic on canvas, sculpted material and directional bursts

At the heart of a vibrant red, two opposing presences collide: a compact black, saturated with shadow, and a grainy white, pierced by raw light. Their encounter creates a silent detonation, an impact frozen within matter still in motion. Around them, the surface contracts and tightens, as if the canvas had captured the precise instant when everything shifts.

Interpretation:

The black advances like a heavy mass, an absorbing force that swallows contours. The white responds with a raw, rough, almost explosive thrust. Where they meet, the line wavers and blurs — a fragile threshold where polarities cease to be opposed and become interdependent. Filaments spring from the point of impact, fine discharges stretching in all directions, witnesses to an inner shock larger than the frame itself. They speak of explosion as much as union, rupture as much as birth.

The surrounding red is not neutral: it pulses, heats, amplifies the duel. It serves as skin, as a field of tension, as breath. In this binary confrontation, something transforms — a trembling equilibrium appears, as if shadow and light finally agreed to mingle to reveal a new energy.

Binary Bursts captures the precise moment when opposites explode only to join more deeply, when matter reveals the primal force of contrast and the inner movement it releases.
